Miren Emilia Urrutia-Castaneda

 Born on June 25th, 1984 in Dorchester, Boston, MA to Luis Alberto Urrutia and Emily Castaneda; a brother Luis Daniel, and a cat named Kato.

Educated (respectively) in St. Augustine's Catholic School (K-3rd), St. Joseph's Catholic School (4th-8th), Manatee High School, with various time served at Florida State University and Manatee Community College. I am currently a 4th year  major in Psychology with respective minors in Anthropology and Japanese ( 日本語)
at the University of Florida. In addition, at the moment I am the President of the Multicultural Psychology Association. I plan to continue to my doctorate in Clinical/Counseling Psychology upon graduation at a place that has yet to be determined. My research and areas of interest within the field include ethnic and diversity issues in therapy as well as psychopharmacology awareness.

Favorite activities include but are not limited to the following: books, video games, computers, music, soccer, cooking, chai tea, random vulgarity and violence.
