Turtles in Galveston, TX
My family's also visited the Moody Gardens Aquarium here.
Sea turtles can be found in their Caribbean exhibit. Recently though, hurricanes have
devastated the coast. This is one of the environmental factors that limit sea turtle
populations. Once again this links to a family trip. More importantly though, Florida
and Texas become connected by hurricanes and their effects on nature in my explorations.
So far, I feel the image of the hurricane serves as the symbol for turtle depletion.
I chose the one below because it is located between both states.
