Teaching
Teaching is our core mission at the Levin College of Law and teaching with technology has always been important to me. Teaching and office hours in person or via ZOOM are critical student contacts.
Scholarship
I have published on Comparative Law, legal history and constitutional law subjects. Most often and recently, I have used Critical Race Theory to illuminate the legal relationship between the United States and Puerto Rico and the meaning of constitutional and cultural citizenships especially for Latina/o citizens of the U.S.
Taking UF Around the World
UF has given me the opportunity to travel to teach, lecture and make scholarly presentations. With publications, this is how law professors promote our law school “brand.” Many destinations have been spectacular (when I can get out of the meeting room).
