Remakes

It has recently become a fad to remake Asian horror movies. Some popular movies that are remade Asian films include "The Ring," "Pulse," "The Grudge," and "Dark Water."

This trend is not dying down. According to Wallace, many fans feel as though the remakes do not serve the originals justice. And, if you look at any IMDB forum, you'd see many posters angered at the fact that some of their favorite movies are being remade.

Coincidentally, two of the movies I wrote about are in the works of being remade, as well.

A Tale of Two Sisters is being remade for 2008.

The Eye, also for 2008, will be starring Jessica Alba.

What do I think? I'm not sure. But, I can tell you that I will be watching the movies!
