The Blues music has been around for decades, but do you know where it originated from and which famous figures traced the path for what we now know as The Blues?

The page focuses on The Blues from the beginning. I will also focus on famous composers such as Mamie Smith, John Lee Hooker, W.C. Handy, Buddy Guy and "Ma" Rainey. These are some of the composers who have carried on the tradition for this genre of music.
