Production Practices

We are proud of our commercial cow-calf herd and the involvement it allows us in this facet of the cattle business.  With our large land base, our program revolves around functional, easy doing, low maintenance ideals. 

We place great emphasis on strong maternal traits including proper structure, good feet and correct udders.  Calving ease and temperament are all also very important criteria as we select our cow herd.

Despite the many challenges facing the cattle industry, Groseta Ranches continually strives to improve the quality of cattle produced while being a good steward of the lands the cattle are produced on.
