Peacock Springs is another national treasure. As of June 13, 2008, the Peacock cave system was the 24th longest underwater cave in the world at 7408 meters. Because of its popularity, the cave tends to be highly trafficked, so suit up early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

The system has relatively low flow, but is generally spacious enough to avoid silting. There are three points of entry that are typically used. They are the Orange Grove Sink, Peacock I, and Peacock III. Orange Grove can be dived by open water divers, but the other sites are limited to those certified at least to the cavern level. Average depth is somewhere between 50 and 80 feet, though some areas may be particularly shallow (as low as 15 ft in the Peanut tunnel) and others may be extraordinarily deep (down to 170+ ft in the lower Orange Grove).
