From I-10, take Exit 96 and exit onto Highway 81 South. Go about 6 miles. Turn left onto Highway 181-A. Drive for 1.5 miles and turn right onto Morrison Springs Road and follow to its end.

Morrison Springs has got a great facility. There are plenty of locals here on weekends, so don't come on a Saturday if you like to avoid crowds oogling your gear.
The cavern itself is relatively straighforward. It gets to a little over 90 ft deep, at which point further progress has been stopped by an intentional barrier. The cave system below is very deep, but too many people have died in there, so the authorities have discontinued it's use.
This is a county park and admission is either free, or very cheap on a per vehicle basis.
