Guinea is located in Western Africa with the North Atlantic Ocean bordering it to the west. Its square area totals almost 246 thousand kilometers. Guinea’s climate is hot and humid most of the time, and stays pretty wet during the rainy season from June through November. Its dry season runs from December through May. Temperatures range from 90 degrees F in the dry season to 70 degrees F in the wet season. Its terrain consists of a steep center with some hills and mountains, which is surrounded by a mostly flat costal area (Factbook).
