FINAL PROJECT

*In my opinion the most positive and useful element of theis class was learning how to use Photoshop. I never really had much experience with Photoshop before this class, and it was really cool to get a basic tutorial on how to use the program. I'm the friend who always takes a camera everywhere I go, so learning how to edit and play around with my images will be fun knowledge for the future. Also, I am taking a class next semester called Visual Communications for my PR major and I know I will be using Photoshop in there as well. It will be nice to walk into that class with a basic knowledge and understanding of how the program works.

*In my opinion the most negative thing thing about the class is honestly the lack of classtime. Though I have enjoyed the hybrid style class, only meeting for one hour once a week made it hard to keep up. Sometimes I feel that I am "computer stupid" as I call it sometimes, and I would find myself getting stumped on the projects. It would be nice if the 50 mintues a week could be more geared toward helping students work on projects. Some of the stuff we worked on in class could have been worked on outside of class. And with that, to ensure students are doing the outside readings, there could be short weekly quizzes online as well to make sure all the information is being covered.

This is a link to my recently made delicious account. Currently, my bookmarks at the top of my window are out of control. Now I can just set my homepage to my Delicious account and go from there.

I really enjoyed using the Gliffy site this semester. I am constantly using programs like PowerPoint and I think I will definitely use Gliffy again in the future. It's free, how awesome is that?

I'm not kidding, I will probably take this with me. I found it really interesting to learn how to read binary code, which I never knew before this class. I'm kind of a math/numbers nerd so this game is seriously fun for me.

This is the image I created for the Visual Literacy project. I had a lot of fun working on this assignment and learned not only some of the basic tools of Photoshop, but also learned some of the more complicated ones as well. Again, I think my skills in Photoshop will give me an advantage next semester, and hopefully I can build ever further on my Photoshop knowledge.
