Step 5: Creating the Arms
Grab the unused sock. Make a slit from the tip of the toe toward the heel. The length of this slit depends on how long you want your monster's arms to be. From the slit, you're going to need to cut OUTWARD and UPWARD in a 45 degree angle. (This is so when you attach the arms later, they will either stick up or down depending on how you sew them, as opposed to sticking straight out if you don't cut them at an angle.)
