The goal of this study is to determine how a mouse compares to a keyboard when performing a common task on websites such as placing an order for food.You will be presented on the next page with a menu to place an order from. You will fill out the information requested in the provided text boxes and then select your "order" from drop down menu using the mouse. THIS IS NOT THE TEST.

  • Following after, you will have a confirmation section in which you will confirm your order only using the mouse. Time will start once an entree selection is clicked. Time will stop once the submit button is clicked.
  • Next, there will be the same confirmation section; however, it must be completed only with the keyboard. Use tab to focus onto the catagories. Use the arrows to navigate within a catagory. Hit 'enter' once you have made your selection. Tab over to submit and hit 'enter'. Time will start once the focus is on the entree selection. Time will stop once you click submit.
  • At the bottom, after the two tests are completed, fill out the form with appropriate information and click send to automatically send the results.
