New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans first entered the league in 1967. The New Orleans was awarded a franchise on All Saints Day in 1966.

Only small modifications have been made to the Saints uniforms since 1967.

The Saints wear black jerseys and gold pants at home. The Saints have gold helmets they include a saint logo that is black and trimmed with white.

In recent years the organization has worn an alternate jersey that is the opposite color scheme: an all gold jersey.

The New Orleans Saints have retired just two jerseys: #31 Jim Taylor and #81 Doug Atkins.
