Kansas City Chiefs

In 1960 the Kansas City Chiefs entered the league known as the Dallas Texans. After three years the team's owner, Lamar Hunt, decided to move the team to their current location in Kansas City, Missouri.

Since the move in 1963 the Kansas City Chiefs have worn the same helmet and the same jerseys. Their home jerseys are red and feature yellow and white stripes.

The helmet logo is an arrowhead with the letters “KC” embedded in the center.

The Kansas City Chiefs have retired the jerseys of: #3 Jan Stenerud, #16 Len Dawson, #28 Abner Haynes, #33 Stone Johnson, #36 Mack Lee Hill, #63 Willie Lanier, #78 Bobby Bell, and #86 Buck Buchanan.
