Unofficial Theme Songs

Because everyone deserves their own theme song!

Note: I am technologically deprived, so I can't get the actual songs on here.  But I have provided the lyrics for your reading enjoyment.  Just hum something under your breath while you read.

Bob
BOB (REBOOT)
"Boy Blue" by Electric Light Orchestra

The reason that this song shouts "Bob!" at me is because Bob is, well, blue.  And male (if sprites living inside a computer even have genders).  Hence, Boy Blue!  The other reason is because Bob was lost in the Web but made a grand homecoming in "Megaframe."  So... as the song says, he's back.  Simple, no?
Cinnamon
CINNAMON CARTER (MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE)
"Killer Queen" by Queen

Yes, this would be the 1960s TV show, not the movies.  Although Cinnamon never really did anything lethal, I have no doubt she's capable of it.  That's a cold, professional spy-lady there.
Gambit
GAMBIT (X-MEN)
"Shape of My Heart" by Sting

The first time I heard this, I knew it was perfect for Remy, both as a literal and a metaphorical description.  It reminded me of one issue in particular - I can't remember which one, but it involved the X-Men playing poker (with a brief cameo by the Thing).  At the end of the game, Gambit is going to win, but then makes a cryptic statement about "never betting more than you can stand to lose," blows up his winning card, and says he lost.

HARM (JAG)
"Learning To Fly" by Pink Floyd  (Coming soon!)

This is probably the only Floyd song I really and truly enjoy; it's a nice, non-depressing song with genuinely moving music.  I like to interpret the lyrics as a straightforward reference to Harm being an aviator, and as a metaphor for other aspects of his life (shippy aspects, of course).

Harm and Mac
HARM AND MAC (JAG)
"Ghost Story" by Sting

Oh, the shippiness -!  I've found that nearly all of Sting's songs are shipper-appropriate, but none suit Harm 'n' Mac better than this one.  Beyond the overall "lover's lament" feel of the thing, the lyrics are full of references to lawyers and courtrooms.  Sychronicity, indeed.
Hex
HEXIDECIMAL (REBOOT)
"Sleep Together" by Garbage

The creepy music suits Hex perfectly, and the stalker-esque lyrics go right along with her long-standing Bob obsession.  In fact, in "Daemon Rising," she suggested to him that they "could go down together" - which cinched my conviction that this was the song for her.  Tell me you can't picture her dragging Bob into one of those psychotic waltzes with this playing in the background.
Matrix
MATRIX (REBOOT)
"Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)" by Styx

Matrix is an angry young man... not so much anymore, maybe, but certainly in Season 3.  Short fuse, big gun, itchy trigger finger - that sums him up pretty nicely.  It was either this song or "Renegade," and since the viral Guardians never actually caught him, I disqualified the latter.
Mulder and Scully
MULDER AND SCULLY (X-FILES)
"If I Ever Lose My Faith" by Sting

I had this pegged as Mulder and Scully's theme the first time I heard it (the first time after I started watching XF, that is).  Goes so nicely with that "raving paranoia, who can you trust" thing that XF does.  This song is cynical - there's no denying that - but totally shippery at the same time.  How does Sting do that?
