Julia's Very Own Fangirl Art!

Because it's my very own art, I'm going to be snotty and request that you NOT take any of these pictures without asking first , and should you choose to use them on another site, that you (at least) credit me.  I check my e-mail often, so I should get back to you pretty fast.

.

This is me and my (non-fangirl) artwork in the spring of 2000 - my senior year - when I was still under the mistaken impression that I looked good with short hair.  My t-shirt says "they're coming," but that's not important.  What is important is that BHS's 2000 Spring Art Show was my last chance to prove to my peers that they might be less geeky, but I could get out of class all day.  Ha!

And in no real order, here we go:

Random Pictures:

"The Fruit Is Out There"  Originally a school project.  Now, a testament to my geekiness.

"Shadow Weaver"

Dot as She-Ra

Guardian icon
(Print it out, wear it, and be cool.  Or a dork.  Whatever.)

Apocalypse sketch: One

Apocalypse sketch: Two

Apocalypse sketch: Three
 In color!

Messing around with Photoshop:

Shadow Weaver

He-Man I

He-Man II

Wallpaper and Collages:

Scarlet Witch  (800x600)  Made with images from Haruka's X-Men: Evolution Screensnap Page.  The quotes are from The Eagles' "Witchy Woman" and Santana's "Black Magic Woman" (I know a lot of people have recorded this, but Santana's version is my favorite).

"From The Beginning"
JAG!  The quote is from the Emerson, Lake and Palmer song "From The Beginning."

"Whites"  JAG!  The quote is from the Moody Blues' song "Bless The Wings (That Bring You Back)."

Bad Girls - Catra, Shadow Weaver, Scorpia:

Pencils

First colors

Photoshop (finished version)

A note: To really get into the mood while viewing this particular picture, you need to be listening to the Donna Summer song "Bad Girls," which is what I was humming the entire time I worked on it.
