ReBoot Links
Mainframe Entertainment
- The mothership. They have a truly splendiferous ReBoot section,
plus a monthly desktop calendar for your downloading enjoyment.
The Unofficial ReBoot
Homepage
- The original fan page, and still the most informative.
ReBoot Mayhem
- It's got... everything, including a dazzling layout. Come and
be amazed.
A Minor Glitch
- A must-see site created by one of the craziest (and I say this with
deep, heartfelt respect) fans out there. I read the Bob Squad comic
and laughed so hard I literally fell out of my chair.
Random Trivia
- Season 1 of ReBoot had more minutes of CGI footage than
Toy Story.
This is the third of my Great Obsessions, discovered during the summer
of 2000, although the first episode I ever saw was "Wizards, Warriors, and
a Word From Our Sponsor" when it aired on ABC. I thought it was kinda
lame. The first episode I saw on CN was "Trust No One," and being the
X-Phile that I am, I had a good laugh. Then I changed the channel.
But I found my way back to ReBoot a few weeks later, when I became caught
up in the lost-in-the-Web arc. And then, of course, I stayed. And
then I started doing things like quoting Mike the TV on a regular basis and
waving my hand in front of my face whenever I did mood swings. Oh,
and walking along the sidewalk on my way to class and looking up at the sky
and honestly wondering, for just a moment, "Where did the circuitry pattern
go?" Then I taped every single episode and cried when CN took it off
the schedule, and rejoiced when they put it back on, and went into a rapture-like
state when the two movies aired. And bought some of the toys.
Hack and Slash are paperweights on my desk. The paper scares them.
My favorite character is Mike the TV, although I am rather fond of Bob too.
My favorite episode is "End Prog," and I can still - STILL sing that
Recap Song word-for-word. And I do. Much to the dismay of my
friends and family.
"The Web invaded Mainframe
Sprite and virus battled side by side..."
