It seems like a lifetime ago, but really it was about six years ago when I was introduced to journalism. I honestly didn't understand what it was. I had no idea how widespread it was nor did I have an idea of how much it encompassed.
Now I found myself halfway through my college education embarking on a career in the very subject I didn't understand six years ago.
One year ago I was introduced to Web design. I spent about 60 hours in front of my laptop trying to create my first website. No, it's not the website you are currently reading, but my first personal website.
Since my introduction to Web design a year ago I have taken it upon myself to learn as much as I can -- by doing.
Other than Web design I enjoy writing articles as a freelance journalist. I have also found a comfy home in the field of sports journalism. I plan to have a career deeply rooted in the vast network of sports journalism, where I can pursue two of my passions: sports and journalism.
