Audio files can be used on the Web for various purposes. Sound can be relatively easy to produce, edit and embed onto a web page. In the sound byte on the left, you'll hear part of an interview I conducted while working at one of UF's radio stations AM850.

I was working on a story about a new phone number portability rule that was put into effect in November of 2003. The voice you hear is Nancy Schwartz (via cell phone), a representative from Sprint PCS. She is commenting on how the company and its business may be affected.
