The Aphex Twin video is a satire of music videos that are popular in the media today. In Sisqo's
video the camera zooms in on the women's body parts and almost never shows their faces. In the Aphex
Twin video the camera focuses on the women's bodies but also shows their faces. The demon-like faces
represent the importance that women are not beautiful because of their bodies, but because of their faces
and inner beauty. The Aphex Twin video suggests that women in society who have beautiful faces and fantastic
personalities are not as well accepted in society as women with beautiful bodies, ugly faces, and sour
personalities are. The video also mocks other videos when the two prostitutes decline on the first two
men's offer to join them. In Sisqo's video for example, the women had no say in what they wanted
to do. In the actual making of the video, the women are told that they are only there to perform as sex
symbols. The Aphex Twin video seems to give the women more freedom to do and say what they want.
The Aphex Twin video, unlike other videos, expresses the vulgarity that society suggests about sex in life
today. (1344 words)
