About Me

The name is Jessica de Souza and I'm currently a, who would have thought, a geography major in my second year at the University of Florida.

I've been traveling the world before I could even walk, so my adoration and my amazement of what the rest of the world looked like started young. When I was just six months old, my parents put me on a plane to Europe and before I was 4, I had been to Portugal and Venezuela several times. As a kindergartener, I saw the Big Ben and the guards of the Buckingham Palace. Before I reached 10 years old, I saw the famous works of Picasso and the toreros of bullfighting. For the millennium, I saw the one and only Mona Lisa and none other than the Eiffel Tower. Once I turned 18, I toured all of Italy and rode on gondolas, tilted with the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and saw the Vatican.

Trust me when I say, my traveling won't stop there. Once I graduate with my Bachelor of Arts in Geography, I plan on teaching overseas and experiencing a different country every year. First stop, Japan! Who knows where I'll end up years from now. Maybe I'll be in Morocco, India, or maybe even Argentina.

Enjoy my website as you learn about the astonishing continents of this beautiful planet.
