OBJECTIVE:
To graduate from the University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Architecture, and then become a registered practicing architect and educator, while gaining any experience that will prepare me for a successful future.
In addition to teaching first year design studios, my research at the University of Florida involves cultural issues in Asia and their influences on architecture. If accepted into the M.Sci. Pedagogy program at the University of Florida, I intend to continue studying architecture in this region, especially the development and effects of these changes at multiple scales.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Taught (3) first year design studios, including writing assignments, and arranging exhibits

Winter 2006 - GiantCampus Cybercamps
Counselor- supervised the learning of high school students, and taught courses in robotics, web design, game design, and photo editing.

Summer 2006 - Alfonso Architects, Tampa Florida
Model builder for tower project

May 2005 - Current - SchenkelShultz Architects, Tampa Florida
Architecture Intern - Work on design and construction drawings using AutoCad and Architectural Desktop; render schemes through Sketch-Up and Adobe Photoshop.

Summer 2004 - Walt Disney Imagineering
Business Associate Intern in Pre-Construction, Resorts - Surveyed the construction market (general contractors, sub-contractors, and cost consultants) and used collected data to generate predictions of future market conditions; created a database on historical cost and program data for Disney hotels and vacation clubs; categorized pricing for new hotel construction

Participant on panel for Teaching Teachers to Teach Seminar to explain current teaching structures at the University of Florida School of Architecture, as well as future goals and intentions of the pedagogy program.
