Biography
Chang-Chia Liu earned his B.S. degree from Taiwan in spring 2000. He went to the United States in spring 2002 and joined the University of Florida in fall 2002. He received dual M.S. degrees from Departments of Industrial and Systems Engineering and J. Crayton Pruitt Family Biomedical Engineering in spring 2004 and fall 2007, respectively. His research interests include global optimization, time series analysis, chaos theory, and nonlinear dynamics with applications in biomedicine.
He defended his Ph.D. dissertation title"Brain Dynamics, System Control and Optimization Techniques with Applications in Epilepsy" in June 2008. He is currently a postdoc fellow in Department of Neurosurgery, Johns Hopkins university, School of Medicine.
