Early Modern Reading Group

The Early Modern Reading Group is an interdisciplinary reading group housed in the University of Florida's Department of English. Our readings and discussions tend to focus on primary texts from the late Middle Ages to the mid-Seventeenth Century. Although we read all of our texts in English, we do read translations of other European works. UF undergraduates, graduate students, faculty members, and all those interested in this area of the Humanities are welcome to attend our meetings. We usually meet during the Fall and Spring semester in the home of one of our members. You can e-mail Horacio Sierra at hsierra@ufl.edu if you need directions for the next meeting or would like more information about the group.

EMRG Listserv: To subscribe to the EMRG's online listserve, send an e-mail to "emrg-english-request@clas.ufl.edu" with only the word "subscribe" in the body of the message. Leave the subject heading blank. Follow the directions that will be e-mailed to you.
