I received the Pridgen-Vermeer board. I downloaded the manual of this board and the manual of the microprocessor ATxmega128A. I started reading these manuals. I made a battery pack and ordered the programmer.

I talked with Mike about my robot idea. I decided to make a soccer robot (with wheels). The robot's function would be to find and "kick" a ball into a goal. A CMU camera can be used to detect the ball and the goal, if painted with different colors. A sonar can be used to measure the distance between the robot and the ball/goal, so that the robot can move to a proper position to hit the ball.
