My life can pretty much be summed up in three words: school, music, and friends and family (Ok so maybe four words.)

I am a biology major at the University of Florida, with dreams of one day becoming a dentist. I'm really excited to be applying to dental schools in May! Hopefully it will

be a positive experience. I'm also involved in research with the Guillette Lab. Currently, I'm working on a project looking to see if nitrates could be having an effect on the beta cell counts in alligator pancreas.

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing violin when I was in fifth grade, and have been hooked ever since. Music is my release, and anytime I'm stressed out I play it. Needless to say, since starting college, I have learned three new instruments. Guess I've been under a bit of pressure.

Finally, my friends and family keep

me grounded. They let me know when

I'm blowing something out of

proportion, and keep life fun. I

can't imagine living life without

them.
