This picture is in the Lebanese culture night  in the beginning of Fall semester 2004 where we invited people from different organizations and showed them a movie about Lebanon .

This picture is taken near the Ritz Union in the University Of Florida , after a ceremony done for welcoming the new semester of Fall 2004.

Dr. R Raymond Issa , the advisor  of the LAS awarded in the Lebanese Night , our biggest event.

More than 250 persons , from different nationalities were present at the Lebanese Night , where Lebanese food was served and a Lebanese singer and Columbian Belly dancer were performing.

This picture is taken in the Halloween Night , when we were invited by the Russian club . In the middle , the mother of our friend Michel coming from Lebanon.

The Lebanese American Society at the University of Florida  aims  to join  the Lebanese students and  to provide an open atmosphere for people interested in learning about the Lebanese culture, customs, history and language. LAS aims also to emphasize the role of the Americans descending from Lebanese origins in the U.S.A. through history.
