î Deals

I really like shopping online as well, and searching and finding great deals and freebies. Here are a few of my favorite resources for finding the best sales online.

Dealnews.com

This is one of my favorite sites, because they update multiple times a day. They have quite a few different departments for their online deals including dealmac (which finds hot sales on Apple products, dealram (which finds and keeps track of price fluctuations in computer ram prices), dealcam (which finds the best deals on digital cameras and camcorders), dealink (which tracks printer ink prices), and dealcoupon (which lists all kinds of online coupons). What's also really great about this site is that they offer RSS feeds for each of their subsites, so I can easily find out about deals through a newsreader.

Slickdeals.net

This also an excellent 'deals' site. As with most of these sites I will present, Slickdeals is primarily technology product based, but also posts random freebies as well. They have daily updates, and are actually integrated into a forum so it's easy to ask others questions about the freebie/deal at hand. Very handy if you can't get a certain coupon to work, or want to find out if its really a good of a deal as it sounds. If you dive deeper into the Slickdeals forums you will discover the Free Magazine Subscription corner where you can often find links to completely free magazine subscriptions, no strings attached. I have subscriptions to Maxim, Blender, Stuff, and Kiplingers Finance until 2006 thanks to this website. They also offer a handy dandy RSS Feed.

Fatwallet.com

This site doesn't have amazing deals persay, but makes up for it with its really resourceful forums (and members). Be sure to check out the Hot Deals for all kinds of discounts on electronics. The Free Stuff forum always has great new freebies. The people are really nice on here, and you may find yourself posting in the forum just to chat!

HardForum.com

is a technology forum that has a section called [Hot]DEALS which can have some really good giveaways, printable coupons, and deals on electronics like computer hardware. They are pretty down to business in Hard Forum, so don't waste their time unless you are going to post a really good deal.
