Farewell!
Goodbye, UF! I am leaving for the private sector.
Previous Positions
My final position with the University of Flordia (since January 2014) was with the Advanced Computing and Information Systems Laboratory (ACIS) to work on iDigBio, the national Integrated Digitized Biocollections project (http://www.idigbio.org). This multi-institutional project is funded by the National Science Foundation to build a "National Resource for Digitization of Biological Collections" or as I sometimes describe it... "the big biological collection database in the sky".
ACIS has a page about me.
Linux System Administrator for the UF CNS Open Systems Group (OSG), housed at the Eastside campus.
Database Analyst / Programmer for the Shimberg Center for Housing Studies in the College of Design and Construction Planning.
IT Senior with the Children's Oncology Group (COG).
My first position at UF was as a Network Administrator for the Florida Museum of Natural History.
