OBJECTIVES  

I would like to teach math at either the high school or college level. In doing that I would like to be involved in many activities at the school, such as participating in coaching sports and sponsoring clubs. I would also one day like to head the math department at my place of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience teaching in the classroom and making lesson plans for many different math classes including precalculus and calculus.

Mastery of a number of math subjects ranging from introductory math to advanced calculus.

One-on-one as well as group tutoring experience in my subject area.

Time management and group leadership experience.

-Taugh classes such as Business Calculus 1 and 2, and Calculus 2 entirely on my own, which included preparing notes, a syllabus, and all other things having to do with the class.
-Administered, graded, and wrote tests and quizzes for Pre-Calculus, Business Calculus 1 and 2, and Calculus 1 and 2.
-Recieved the highest grade of "Satisfactory" each semester of teaching from the head of the Math Department.
-Attained an overall perfect score on the student evaluations in the Fall of 2004, the only person in the Math Department to do so that year.


2003-2004

-Planned an agenda each day which included homework time, indoor and outdoor activities.
-Managed time efficiently.
-Claimed responsibility for all children in my age groups in everyday activities and on field trips.

-Acquired an in-depth knowledge of the materials in the aforementioned classes.
-Learned to clearly communicate ideas, both mathematically and personally, to others.
-Gave reviews to 30-300 students in the aforementioned classes for tests.
