RE: Coalition Against the Alligator - Protest on Friday, Jan 20th

The Alligator continues to publish racially offensive cartoons and editorials despite the community and student organizations' repeated calls for an apology.  The Coalition Against the Alligator has initiated and supported a Boycott against the paper since September 2004, and our work is paying off - the new editorial staff at the Alligator has informed us that they are working on our demands.  But UNTIL we see our apology and demands being met in Print, let us continue to support this coalition by attending a PROTEST MARCH this FRIDAY!

We will meet on the Set around 12:30pm and rally as many students as we can to MARCH to the Alligator by 1pm.  Bring as many people as you can so that we can show our unity and solidarity against racism!  Let's work together to create changes on this campus and the Gainesville Community!
