Buildings Map:
The next two images of the Oak Hammock buildings and close grounds can be enlarged using your browser.  Walking paths are not all shown because they are covered by trees, e.g., around the small lake. All the simulated hammock -- green (other than grass), grey, and black areas -- is registered as a natural habitat.

Our Local Neighborhood:
Pic Unit 2428 is near the lower-right corner on the maps above.   The 2428 driveway looks about north-west.    The other half of the duplex Unit, 2422, is our "roof neighbor."

Floor Plan:

The open patio is now covered; both patios are screened. The closet between the dining and living rooms has been removed. The garage is about 1 foot less in width and depth than our 4704 garage. The den square feet are 75% of the 4704 den.

Front & Back Views:

Front & "Pond":
Ann, our roof neighbor, and Ann on the driveway of 2428:    Two cedar trees are on the sides of the small (man made) pond with cat-o-nine tails in the front and a Bradford Pear tree in the center rear.    Behind Ann and Ann is a sloping lawn about 60 feet from the unit directly north.     We will see it in the foreground and a mix of hardwood and softwood trees in the background when sitting at our table in the breakfast room.

Inside 16 at OH@UF**
The following pictures are from views inside our residence.   A little under half of our furniture at 4704 was moved to 2428: downsizing was not fun.   Left click on a picture to expand it. Click on your browser's back button to return to this picture table.   The last will branch your browser to the Oak Hammock home page.

Almost all of what you see in the pictures is from our homes over our 53 years, including our student days in Cambirdge, MA.   Some of what is shown is from Ann's parents' home and my parents' home.   Some I found on streets in Cambridge or New Haven and renewed.   A few I made.   We purchased four furniture pieces since moving to OH@UF.   Some of these pictures are out of date as I write this.   More to come!
