Weekly Report 9 (
For this week I have connected my camera to a computer and adjusted the focus as well as test the camera. Since I intend to use illuminated color objects I tested the camera with different colored LEDs. This did not work well since they can not be seen form a distance. After the LEDs, I tried using a flashlight with colored transparent paper over the light and the camera seemed to work much better with that light after the view was adjusted to the center top of the entire window. Coordinates 20 to 40 horizontally and 60 vertically. So I will most likely be using flashlight bulbs with the mirror cone that surrounds it to get brighter plus filter paper. The camera does tend to read red the most even when it is focusing on nothing at all. Red and green are distinguishable but yellow is a little harder to stabilize. I have also mounted my bump switches and will program them soon.
Also all parts being bought for the demo area I have created the track, but have not started to build the traffic lights.
