Weekly Report 5 (
All parts for the robot are in my possession as of Monday June 6th.
This includes the following:
Up to date I have the robot platform built, and the IR sensors mounted to it (Pics available on website). Still trying to find away to mount the sonar. I have also configured the layout of the power board on a breadboard am trying to copy it over to the Eagle program so I can PCB it sometime soon. I am still working on the program to run my servos and my IR sensors. Hopefully the IR will be a little easier now because I changed their placement from the side to the front of the robot.
For this weekend I hope to work on the servos to get them moving and the IR reading right so the robot can stay within a lane (two solid whit lines).
P.S. Just wanted to inform anyone that has not bought rechargeable batteries yet and is going to use them, that Lowes has a great price on the energizer battery with 2500 mAh.
