Best to Use A Desk Computer or Laptop

Canvas App - Not for Graded Assignments.

Please DO NOT use the Canvas APP.
The Canvas app causes many issues with assignments
appearing to be uploaded and then failing in the background.

It is not wise to use tablets, phones, watches or other single board devices...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Best to Use A Wired Connection

Wireless Connections can lose data

  1. Wireless connections are problematic for uploading graded assignments.
  2. Use a wired connection for best results in your Grades!
  3. This is one of the most problematic issues online.
  4. It MIGHT be fine if you have 5.334 Gbps to the WAP.


 

 

 

 

 

 

Should I use UF Webmail or Canvas Email?

Please check the Syllabus for Email Contact Information..
Use UF Web Mail for those that like that option better. Some will ask you to use Canvas InBox...

  5. Submit Your Assignments 
  6. Participate in a Discussion 
  7. Take a Quiz 
  8. Submit Peer Reviews 
  9. Participate in a Group 
  10. Check Your Grades
  11. Make sure all software is Up to date
    1. Download current version of Adobe Reader PC or MAC
    2. Check PING to make sure your is below 60 ms
