Don't think you were forgotten, boys.

As much as they may hate it, men also need to think about their fashion choices. It could make the difference when snagging a gameday cutie.

Team jerseys are always a favorite among male fans, but they lack refinement and originality.

Ryan Parmer, a fourth-year anthropology major, has found an alternative to that dated look by choosing a Gator polo and contasting white shorts.

The polo is made of a blend of cotton and polyester to keep him cool during hot games. The fabric is soft and comfortable for when he sits in the stands.

"Even though my girlfriend bought me this polo, I like wearing it at games because it's comfortable," he said.

Men should look for this balance of comfort and cool when choosing clothing. Just like female fans, men can also choose an outfit that incorporates the colors of orange and blue instead of just wearing the free t-shirts given out at games.

Fraternity members have taken men's Gator gameday fashions to the next level. These guys are not afraid to try new trends or wear interesting clothing.

Sean Quinn, a third-year political science major and member of the fraternity Chi Phi, enjoys wearing bowties to games. He said he gets compliments from girls because the bowtie is a conversation starter.

His favorite is an orange and blue plaid bowtie that he matches with a white button-down shirt and khaki pants.

"It's fun to dress up for the games," he said. "The girls do it. Why shouldn't we?"
