From The Pastor, 
Welcome to Magnolia United Methodist Church in Suffolk,
Virginia! We hope that you find the information that you
seek on our website. Magnolia UMC is a remarkable congregation, where GOD is doing some amazing things.
We
invite you to visit us. When you visit,
you will meet friendly children, youth, and adults.
Some of us dress casually, others in our best, and some
people come directly from work. Please come as you feel
comfortable.
Magnolia is a place for families. We have two
adults in our Nursery for all services (8:30 & 11:00
Sunday). Our 11 a.m. service offers Toddler's Church (potty-trained
to age 4) and Children's Church (ages 5-11). Whether
you like to worship together as a family, or prefer your
children to learn about Jesus in ways that are fun and
appropriate for their ages, your family will be
strengthened as you let our Lord minister to you.
We
emphasize the GRACE of God that accepts us, FAITH in
Jesus Christ that saves us, and the ASSURANCE that the
Holy Spirit fills us and sends us into the world. I
believe you will receive a blessing in our worship, our
classes and small groups, and in opportunities for
service.
It
is our prayer that we will be sensitive to God's call
in helping to meet your needs. This is a place where
Hope and Life come together. If you are ready for a new
beginning in your life, or to continue as a follower of
Jesus Christ and grow deeper in your love for God and
your fellow man, do not hesitate to call or visit us. I
