Research

My research has focused on the economics of higher education. I am interested on how traditional measures of higher education success such as attendance, degree completion, and labor market outcomes are affected by education reforms. In my research, I looked at how education standards in the form of college exit exams and higher education finance such as college costs affect these traditional measures of higher education success. My future research will look at the effects of admissions and financial aid policies as well as the quality of 2-year and 4-year institutions attended on higher education success.

Below is a list of research papers included in my dissertation.
