Foreign Language Demonstration (Part B)

You probably understood very little because there were very few clues to meaning.  You may have picked up the words "chips" and "chocolate" as they sound similar in English.
 
 

Step Two: View the second part of the video. Then answer the following questions.

1. What did you understand?  If it was more than you understood after part A, why did you understand more this time?
2. What was the topic of the lesson?
3. How did you feel?
4. How would you react if you were the language minority student?

Submit your reactions to both parts of the video to the course facilitator using the downloadable document or p. 24 in your study guide.
