This week I finally found and purchased the male to male USB connection for the programmer for my board.  I researched some other parts that I need to purchase, including color detection, motors, IR, and voice/sound.  I have recently ordered a CMUCam2 for color detection, sample H bridges from National Semiconductor, and my IR sensors and backup photo reflectors from MarkIII.  Some of these items are on backorder but shouldn’t be too long.  I also purchased an item with Homer Simpson quotes that I will either record or hack depending on how I decide to use these quotes and others.

By Thursday or Friday I should have most of the parts ordered that I don’t already, which is mainly the wheels and motors (need to ask an ME about motors since I haven’t gotten a good answer from anyone yet), and the voice/speaker system which isn’t an immediate rush.
