6/1 update
This week I received my MAVRIC-IIB
board and USB connection in the mail but need to purchase a male-male
connection so the USB can connect to my computer and make sure the
board
boots. The male-male connections in lab
were missing so I was unable to run that test there.
I figured out the name of my robot,
HOMER (Helping Others Move Easily on Roads) and figured out which
sensors HOMER
will have. I downloaded and obtained
various items that have quotes that I will probably use for my robot
and I’m
currently researching where I can get all of the parts necessary for it.
Also this week, I put together the
formal robot proposal and an oral presentation that will be shown in
class. Hopefully I’ll survive it without
too many battle wounds.
