5/18 weekly report

Went to the first class this week and learned that most of the classes i've taken in EE haven't been very useful for IMDL and I'll be starting from close to scratch.  I have been trying to find a robot idea that could have various functions and sensors.  Right now the best idea is a dancing robot on wheels, but I'm still trying to figure out how it would be able to have arms and do different dances, instead of just spinning around.  If that doesn't pan out, my next ideas are either a martini maker or a snack/drink retriever.

I also looked at the website and saw different circuits and sensors, looking at the sensor section to give me ideas of what could be on my robot.  The website wasn't fully updated to the summer term yet, but it had enough on it to get me started.  I'm not sure what else I can be doing yet so hopefully I didn't mess up after only 1 class.
