This is the official website of Doug Mays, well not really, its only for class.
I guess the main reason for this is to find out a little about me and following
that will be a small research project. Well for starters I'm a Junior, Computer
Science major at the
University of Florida. I'm not currently involved
in any clubs but I play sand volleyball and intramural football.

I grew up in a small town, in west central Florida, named Crystal River.
There isn't much in Crystal River except for manatees and a lot of old
people. I attended Crystal River High School and graduated class of '01.
Most teachers at my high school graduated from CRHS, which led to the
continuing "de-education" as I like to call it. During high school i played football
and ran track. I also played a little baseball but baseball and myself didn't quite get along.

I was excited to be accepted into UF, My parents and sister are all UF grads. I work at Lake Wauburg. At the lake I lifeguard and I am a climbing wall instructor.
I've lifeguarded for 7 years. My interests include: football, running,
swimming, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and rapelling. For cheap, high-quality
climbing/rapelling gear check out Gear Express.

My Research Project

While growing up my dad has always had a collection of Studebakers. I've
never really known very much about them except for what my dad has told me
through the years, he is a expert on the subject. So I figured for my
project I'd research this topic and learn a little more about Studebakers,
maybe even teach other people about them-Learn More...
