"Hey kids, y'all want to go see a movie?" This was a question my mom would ask randomly in a certain period of my life(about three months). My sister and I were always eager to go, and Mom would get us lunch on the way or an ice cream afterward. She just took us out and had a great time spending the day with us. The next day, though, I would frequently wake up to Mom watching TV. This in itself wasn't bad, except that she would not come off the TV for anything, even when she would say "There's nothing on right now!" I might ask her to play a board game or my sister might ask for lunch, but the only things Mom would do were watch TV and take a nap, most of the time we had to repeat ourselves several times to be heard, including my dad. A few days later, she would be dying to spend time with us again, like she hadn't seen us in ages.
