Meet the Designer
My name is Amanda, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Florida. Although my immediate family resides in Greenwood Village, Colo., I choose to be an "out-of-stater-gator" because I was born a Floridian. I am pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Marketing. I am also very involved on campus. I am a co-founder of the recruitment committee for the Florida Leadership Academy and the public relations chairman of Kappa Kappa Gamma Epsilon Phi Chapter.
I aspire to work with online media in the future. I would really like to design the layout for a strictly online magazine company. The Internet has not completely outdated print media yet, but as print media is rapidly becoming obsolete, I see promise and opportunity for me to express my creativity in this field. I am exploiting my independent study and graphic design internship to master graphic design alongside my core coursework.
