Background
Born and raised in Miami, FL, I attended Palmetto Senior High School. I was the president of the English Honor Society and a section editor of the yearbook. I have lived in Gainesville since 2002, working on my undergraduate and Master's degrees in Accounting.
Education
After I receive my Master in Accounting, I plan to earn my Certified Public Accounting license and move to Atlanta, Georgia to work. My specialization is tax, and I am interested in International Tax and possibly working abroad one day.
Interests
I enjoy traveling and have been to England, Ireland, Wales, France, Italy, Spain, Canada and Mexico. I studied in London during the summer of 2004 and backpacked through Europe for a week prior to studying. Places I would love to go include Greece, Egypt, Japan, China, Brazil, and Eastern Europe.
I am also interested in cooking and playing golf, both interests I have recently taken up.
I like reading and watching movies. Some of my favorite authors are Dan Brown, Bill Bryson and Michael Crichton. My favorite movies include American Beauty, Love Actually, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies, and the new film, V for Vendetta.
