PortraitAnna Warner is a certified agriscience teacher. Anna was raised on a farm in York County, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she was active in 4-H and helped with her family's agricultural business in Carroll County, Maryland. Her rural upbringing inspired Anna to become an agriculture teacher and share her passion for agriculture with others.


Anna earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and extension education from West Virginia University in 2007 and is currently working on her master’s degree in agricultural education and communication from the University of Florida; she will be graduating in May 2009. Her thesis explored agriscience teachers’ concerns and professional development history regarding the implementation of content area reading strategies. Anna has gained a variety teaching expereinces during her time in college as well.


Anna is eagerly anticipating sharing her diverse agricultural experiences with her students in order to foster an appreciation and passion for agriculture.
