Guitar

Portrait of roommate

I'm excited to finally have found enough patience and focus to sit down and practice the arts. Learning chords and playing on the guitar is my latest hobby.

Drawing

I picked up drawing a couple summers ago. I haven't mastered any real technique yet, as I've only been teaching myself- trying to figure out natural lines and such. Therefore, I can only really draw from observation. I enjoy it, though. Portraits are my favorite.

If you look to the right, I've posted a portrait of my old roommate that I drew a while back.

Ultimate Frisbee

I started playing frisbee when I twirled with the University of Florida Marching Band.

The people who got there early just took a disk out to pass the time, and ever since then, I've been hooked. It's a challanging sport that promotes sportsmanship and inclusion. Exactly my kind of hobby.

Baton Twirling

I twirled competitively for 10 years. I've been retired for almost 2 years now, but I still pick up my batons every now and then, and since baton twirling was such a big part of my life, I figured I'd include it on this page.
